Tata Waste is a highly innovative and enterprising waste management and recycling company that offers tailor made solutions for the collection, recovery recycling and disposal of waste. We have been in the industry since 2002 working with both the public and private sector to promote a clean and healthy environment.

Our Services

On-Site Waste Management

Our staff will attend the site to perform multiple services that comprise of separation at source, cleaning, minimisation of waste to landfill, as well as liaising with management and our offices.

Sensitive Document Destruction

Documents are destroyed by a large shredder at our facility. A certificate of safe disposal is issued to the client at the conclusion of every destruction and disposal exercise. Clients are welcome to observe the entire process should they so wish.

Waste Collection and Disposal

A basic function that incorporates the upliftment and disposal of non-recyclable waste. A waste audit will be performed, with results of low volume of recyclable content a requirement for these services to be rendered.

Materials recovery and recycling

Materials recovery is performed at sites that do not have an Integrated Waste Management Plan. Our skilled staff quickly and efficiently recover high volumes of recyclable goods from mixed refuse sites.

Buy-Back Centre

Tata Waste also operates as a Buy-Back Centre and purchases various grades of recyclables that are delivered to facility. This provides an easy access point to local business and individual waste collectors who rely on selling their recyclable materials for their livelihood.

Skip Services

Skips are 2m³ with welded slots that allow for free movement with a forklift or similar. These skips have proved to be extremely effective on building construction sites due to their size and flexibility. Telehandlers lift and move these skips up multiple stories, whilst Bobcats can move them around on the platforms. These skips are serviced with a Pickup and a break-neck trailer and winch sytem.

Training

Multiple levels of training can be performed, from corporate office staff to general cleaners that will be handling the refuse. The effectiveness of this can only be assured through customer buy-in, thus ensuring strict internal policies are developed and followed.

Baling Machinery Repairs

Professional workshop staff are able to repair most baling machinery and equipment.

Recycling

All separated recyclables are transported to our facility where they are further baled and/or processed and packaged. These goods are then sold as a substitute raw-material source to some of South Africa's largest manufacturers.
